Are you 12 years old or younger?

Would you like to see what ringette is about?

Come to East End Community Centre on Sunday, April 30 at 1:30!

There will be instructors to show you how it works!

All you need is a helmet and skates. We can provide a stick.

Oh, and don’t forget enthusiasm. You’ll need that, too!

No need to register. Just arrive 1/2 hour before ice time to prepare. Or come even earlier (12:00) to watch the Junior High Tournament final competition! Stay later to watch the High School final!

See you there!

2023/24 AA Ringette Tryouts

NOTE: DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS NOW APRIL 7, 2023!

It’s time to register for AA Ringette tryouts for the 2023/24 season!

All players wishing to play AA must register online directly through the link provided below, not with their local association. Manual registrations will not be accepted.

http://mhprl.rampregistrations.com/participant

Registration opens March 9, 2023 and closes on April 16, 2023 (11:59pm), for a fee of $120.00 plus processing fee. Absolutely NO late registrations will be accepted.

The AA tryouts for the 2023 – 2024 season will be held on the following dates: May 5, 6 & 7, May 12, 13 & 14, at Niverville Arena, in Niverville MB. ANY ATHLETES WISHING TO PLAY IN THE AA PROGRAM MUST REGISTER AND ATTEND TRYOUTS.

NOTE: If a player is unable to attend tryouts, they will be excused for the following reasons only:
–     Family death or health emergency
–     Sickness or injury, accompanied by a doctor’s note
All notifications of absenteeism must be submitted in writing to the tryout coordinator, Marcee Chacun (aatryoutcoordinator@shaw.ca) as soon as you are aware of the absence. The AA committee will determine a fair evaluation for these players. These situations will be reviewed on a case by case basis. The team formation committee reserves the right to consider the athlete’s previous ringette experience. However, if a player does not attend tryouts for reasons not previously noted, their score could prevent placement on an AA team.

Note for U14AA – (Born 2010/2011) – The final determination of the number of U14AA teams will not be made until tryout registration numbers are submitted and skills can be evaluated.

The AA tryouts will be coordinated by The Manitoba High Performance Ringette League, in a centralized manner. After tryouts are complete and teams formed, all athletes who were not selected will be required to return to their home Local Association.  If a player is selected to play on a team outside of their catchment area and the player declines to play, they will not be selected to another AA team and will return to their home Local Association. Registrants will need to indicate whether they would be willing to play for an AA team outside of their catchment area to avoid situations where athletes decline to play after being selected for a team from a different AA Organization.

Should an athlete remove themselves from contention prior to the commencement of the tryout process, no refunds will be issued.
