The AA committee will determine a fair evaluation for these players. These situations will be reviewed on a case by case basis. The team formation committee reserves the right to consider the athlete’s previous ringette experience. However, if a player does not attend tryouts for reasons not previously noted, their score could prevent placement on an AA team. Note for U14AA – (Born 2010/2011) – The final determination of the number of U14AA teams will not be made until tryout registration numbers are submitted and skills can be evaluated. The AA tryouts will be coordinated by The Manitoba High Performance Ringette League, in a centralized manner. After tryouts are complete and teams formed, all athletes who were not selected will be required to return to their home Local Association. If a player is selected to play on a team outside of their catchment area and the player declines to play, they will not be selected to another AA team and will return to their home Local Association. Registrants will need to indicate whether they would be willing to play for an AA team outside of their catchment area to avoid situations where athletes decline to play after being selected for a team from a different AA Organization. Should an athlete remove themselves from contention prior to the commencement of the tryout process, no refunds will be issued. |
